Some photos of Jacob, taken on his playmat. To light these I used 2 flashes lying on the floor inside collapsed umbrellas. I tried using a full umbrella on a stand, but I found it made the light too even and gave a very flat look. The folded up umbrellas made the light sources just the right size. The one on the top left has a CTO gel to give the orange/blue cross light.

Jacob Rocks the Fauxhawk

Jacob is rocking the Fauxhawk! He’s definitely got some attitude. For the photo-curious, this is a single flash bounced off the ceiling and wall to the back left. I’m now using the Yongnuo RF-602 triggers, which are by far the best “China cheap” triggers.
